naw, newbies are welcome to, at least I don't mind :) I think maybe you just worded your question badly, It DID come out like you were basically clueless as to how to call a function. On the otherhand, I haven't dealt with your code base, so perhaps it IS a bit confusing. One suggestion I would have is to grep all the source and .h files for another instance of the function. This should find you several places to examine it in a working context. If it is a macro, then the .h grep should turn up the definition, which is always usefull to know :) Enjoy, Ben Greear
