Just remember that while circle might not be the most stream lined mud code, it was designed with portability and ease of change in mind... very little pasta in this code. The portability is a major thing for me. Phoenix Mud (a 2.2 even) has had 5-9 different site in the last 2 years. each one a different OS. Ultrix, osf, sunos, linus, bsd, dgux, and a couple more I think... :) we haven't had many problems switching....
