Well, i guess in this case it's not so bad to post such questions to the
list itself, otherwise, how can you check what the list members prefer. (=

I wouldn't remove such a useful thing, as the Reply To: part is, just
because one complaint.

Most lists use it, and there's a reason why.

Any not fully dump mail program should give you the option of replying
to author or Reply To address as you like anyway, and for the few who have a 
dump mailing program, it shouldn't be that much of a problem to manually
edit the header in the rare cases in which they want to reply to author
instead of the whole list.

So my vote goes for putting the Reply To: field back in again.
