Well now, I coded bury on AddictMUD, and had a nice solve for the problem 
of tintiners...

When you dig or bury there's a cost... a wait state is set, and movement 
is subtracted... the exact movement cost and length of wait state is 
dependant on the room sector... so unless you have a LOT of moves and 
have no place to be quick, it would be a pain in the ass to alias tintin 
like that...

(for memory and processor time however I did something much simpler then 
having the buried items in the game, but I'm a little too proud of this 
code still to give many details yet)
