A few things

Ok, I've got a few things on my mind right now. Any help would be great.

First, I'm running a stock 3bpl11 and it compiled fine. Then I add the files
from the patched code from the FTP site and I get this error on compile.

make ../bin/circle
make[1]: Entering directory `/home/mud/circle30bpl11/src'
gcc -o ../bin/circle comm.o act.comm.o act.informative.o act.movement.o
[SNIP]
spell_parser.o spells.o utils.o weather.o -lnsl
/usr/i486-linux/bin/ld: cannot open -lnsl: No such file or directory
make[1]: *** [../bin/circle] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/mud/circle30bpl11/src'
make: *** [default] Error 2

Secondly, some ideas for spells I've been playing with. How would you Circle
guru's go about adding a mob that rises from the dead 2 ticks after it's
been killed unless a spell is cast to keep it dead and what would be the
best way for a magical barrier spell. Caster only and he doesn't take damage
until the barrier is breatched. Any ideas or comments welcome.
