in mag_damage, would it work (or would just have no affect) if i put
in at the end something like: 

if (stun > 0)
  WAIT_STATE(victim, (PULSE_VIOLENCE * stun));

the idea being that certain spells, in addition to doing damage, also
stun the victim, do that the victim can't do anything for a certain
amount of time.  i would like to avoid having to create a mag_manual
for it, if i can just do it in mag_damage.
