Patch and Diff

Hello all!

I'm trying to patch some of my src.. but it's not working!

I've tryed diff -ur and I get a dumb error when I run patch on it,
and I've tryed diff -c and I get this error:

Hmm... Looks like a new-style context diff to me...
The text leading up to this was:
--------------------------
|diff -c /home/taz/Temp/src/Makefile src/Makefile
|*** /home/taz/Temp/src/Makefile Sun Oct 6 08:33:03 1996
|--- src/Makefile Thu Oct 17 17:27:04 1996
--------------------------
Patching file src/Makefile using Plan A...
patch: **** Premature "---" at line 11--check line numbers at line 5

It's like that on the -ur too. Only seems to want to patch one line or one
file. How can I get this to work? I'm running diff on Slakware and
patch on Red Hat.
