* Eliminated one variable from do_track. (yippee, right?) :)
* Checks to see if the player is going to fail their skill check.
If they do, don't bother searching since we just randomly pick a
direction and tell them that is the way.
* General nitpick cleanup.
This should speed up track somewhat for those who fail their check a lot.
