mine is a pentium 200 with 65 megs ram, linux slackware 3.3, 6 gigs
harddrive with a 50 meg swap.
i use my internet account to run it, (battlegrounds.dyn.ml.org) and its my
personal computer at home.
i've never really noticed any limits using CircleMUD, i'm not a veteran mind
you, but i've discovered that CircleMUD has many pssobilities, and because i
wanted my mud to be something that i can customize to my own needs,
CircleMUD fulfills that duty quite nicely.
