I'm an emacs zealot, yet since I'm a system administrator, I end up
spending >75% of my time in vi.  But for programming, especially lisp
programming (Allegro or CMU Common Lisp), Xemacs and CC-MODE, everything
else is inferior [sic].  With etags, it proves to be very time efficient.
