[OFF-TOPIC] line eliminator

I'm looking for a command that will eliminate a line from a file that it
reads in from a list..does anyone know such a way/command to do this
under linux?

ex:

(command I'm looking for) file1 file2

in file1 was a list of words to remove
in file2 was the list for the words to be removed from
