On a somewhat related note, there are problems with the generic_find
function. It would seem that if you try and stat an object, and there is
one in the room, one in your inventory, and one worn, you can't stat the
one in your inventory. It would also seem that looking into an object in
the locations also does it. I believe it has to do with the fact that if
you do a look 2.object with a generic_find, it keeps the number from
search area to search area. So if it can't find 2.object in your
inventory, it looks for 2.object in the room. Now, if you have object in
your inv and in the room, it won't realize that it found one already.

a Windows 95-based system, in which case we all might live forever. "
