The '!' stand for replace. Like if you wanna change a line from 11333 to
11222 do something like this:
-----------
xxxxxxx
! 11333
xxxxxxx
-----------
xxxxxxx
! 11222
xxxxxxx

This is how I got it explained, and I got the general idea :)
