  In the long run you are much better off doing them by hand.
Patches will only work _well_ against stock code.  After a
cpu done patch or two you will be about _done_ in that zone anyway :)
Trust me please, you will be much farther ahead in your code knowledge
if you just get used to doing them all by hand from the start.
