# ls -l /etc/redhat-release /etc/rc.d/rc.local
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 1051 Mar 30 22:17 /etc/rc.d/rc.local*
-rw-rw-r-- 1 root root 24 Nov 9 1997 /etc/redhat-release

The sticky bit is mostly ignored in Linux anyway. Other Unix systems seem
to make it a root-only keep-in-memory flag for things.
