[CODE] player objects

I recently added an autoeq feature to my mud, from the circlemud ftp site.
after adding all the code and changing what was needed to be changed i
compiled and rebooted the mud without a problem. the autoequip didnt work
though, so i did as suggested by the autoeq txt i used, and deleted the
player and plrobjs files. now when a player rents, the objs just disappear
and dont get saved. the obj file wasnt created as the player file was after
reboot
what do i do? do i put back the code the way it was before i added the code
from the autoeq? or is there just some little something that i am missing
that i need to do in order for the player objects to be saved.
