You assume to much, like the editor is fixed (like all
the rest that were written!)

This editor is CONFIGURABLE(!)  It reads in the constants.c source file
and uses the mud's flags and
bitvectors.  I know this may be a hard concept for
everyone to grasp, since NO ONE has EVER done anything
like this before.
