Ok, I took the hint and removed '.' from the list of characters for a valid
hostname (but not the other addresses).
Any valid MUD entries (I saw one already) will be preserved when we release
the full version of this script. So go reserve your name now. Note that
'www', 'cambot', 'ftp', and similar names will not be considered valid.
