I am trying to do away with having players
practice their skills and have them improve
through use.
I was hoping someone is already doing this
and can give me some ballpark percentages
to use.
For ex., I have a search command that is
based on a perception skill that all classes
start with. The command will force a waitstate()
of an interval I am still trying to determine.
I currently have the chance of the skill imporving
like so:
if (number(1,101) == 1)
// increase skill by 1
If this to often? I similuated 1000's of die rolls and
1 is not that common but I was hoping for some
'real mud' experience.
Thanks,Chuck
