You should probably visit the /doc directory that is in the zip file
included with circlemud's source. It has several README files that contain
useful step-by-step information on how to set up your compiler, changes in
the source files that you need to make and other useful tid-bits that you
have been running into and may run into in the future. If you are using
Borland's C compiler, read README.BORLAND; for Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0,
read README.MSVC6, etc.

I know that you may not want to read these, but people on this list have
helped design these files over the years just for the purpose of not having
to answer the same questions whenever someone new tries to get a mud up and
running.

I don't mean this as a flame in any aspect. I'm just letting you know what
is available for you so that you can take a look at the documentation before
having to write an email to 350+ people.

Thank you,
Rick
