I managed to get the patch installed (finally) but the circle process crashed whenever a socket connection was made via another lan machine. (I even tried to shut off that nsslow option thinking it was timing out because of name resolution) Still the process crashed when another physical machine connected. Then I took your suggestion. I ftp'd the circlebpl17-plus.tar.gz. Worked like a charm! Again...
