I added some of that to extract_char_final().  More coming as soon as I
find sticky places that should have it.

I have plenty to do, it just comes in spurts.  I still have to do my taxes
(April 15th), two projects (April 23rd, 26th), and a bit of whatever else
shows up.  I'll be more free starting May 3rd, assuming work doesn't gobble
all the time up.

Requires learning LaTeX to get started on that and it really hasn't
presented itself as an activity I'd have time for (yet).
