i have compiled the same source in 2 places linux mandrake 7.0 and cygnus they compiled fine with no errors and no warnings bin's ran just fine, loged in played around and cleaned up the dir's. I patched and fixed a bunch of problems in this and my bamud distro. as it was based on this distro. going to patch it up to bpl 18 or 18 after i release this. so expect to see a release just after this. Fixed as folows Reworked the Makefile.in so it stops giving up errors. the release lacked some of the /world/trg files so i placed them in. the diskio.c file was all messed up so i replaced it with a proper one added ez color and a few more fixes to the mud. manualy patching it too bpl 19 would be too much of a pain to do at this time. if you are interested in doing it i will send you the current build and you can patch it up for me. ( Thanks Luke Waite ) for the diskio fix The code contained is patched on a linux system. It is not supported, however it is to help those starting out by having the code already patched with some common items. Such as: CircleMUD bpl 17 Oasis 2.0 Percentages DG Scripts 7a Ascii Pfiles Assemblies Hedit i removed the castle.c from the makefile.in but the file is still in the src directory spec_assign.c had ben edited to remove reffrences to objects and mobs that are no longer in the game but i only commented them out. i have a problem with deleteing anythign in the code that might be in some way useful to anyone i may distribute it to. If you want documentation on the items please download the patches so I don't have to include them within this package. Please also email those in the credits file (already changed for the codes added). To abide by thier wishes, letting them know you use thier code. You do not have to email me on any use of the code, however if you do have ideas or bug reports for this package ONLY I will be more than happy to attempt to fix. <--- del doesnt curently have access to a server to speak of so i have asked him if i may take over this code and develop more for distro reasons. I will also be working on adding some more snippets to this package, but this may take more time than I think. i tap3w0rm am activly waiting for E-mail from you with ideas for additions I will not work on anything to change the spells/skills classes, races, levels or the likes. (i tap3w0rm agree with the above statement and will also do no damage to any of the above sections) Thanks to ALL that helped, including those who helped me learn circle and circlemud mailing list people.
