Author: D. Tyler Barnes Format: Patch Tested Patchlevels: 17 (with OasisOLC v2.0) One of the first things I noticed when I started to code CircleMUDs was the insanly moronic (called stupid by Jeremy Elson, and idiotic by George Greer) way in which exits are handled. If you hate it too, you've found the holy grail. This is a simple way to improve the way in which exits are handled while maintaining 100 percent backwards compatibility. This patch was created, as it says above, for CircleMud 3.0 pl17 with OasisOLC v2.0. If you do not use OasisOLC, the only modifications required are those that are done to structs.h, constants.c, and db.c. If people use this patches, I would really appreciate an email and possibly a mud telnet address if the mud it has been applied to is open to the public.
