============================================================ This installation of Circle MUD contains the following patches. Oasis Olc (online editing of rooms, mobs, objects, zones) Aedit (online editing of socials) Player Races (human, elf, dwarf, gnome) Tables to Formulas (xp, thac0, saving throws, level-titles) Easy Color (& color codes) Text Editing (for editing credits, background, etc.) Improved Editing Other patches may have been applied, but as of writing this I do not remember what they were, if any. Also, I have not given proper credit to the wonderfull folks who created the above patches. The Tables to Formula patch is my own. The rest, I do not remember who made the patch, as soon as I can find my disk that has those old patches(or the time to find them on the ftp site again) I will give full credit to those programmers. I have to thank the following people for either helping me pull a project like this off, or for making it possible for doing so: Cathy Gore - For giving me all the tools necessary for doing this little project. And for all her help when I was struggling. Artovil - Every now and then he'd come up with some really difficult task for his MUD that only I could help with(it seems that he doesn't like formula's and loves structures, I love formulas and hate structures) Those little projects helped me learn my way around Circle MUD and how to fix various errors that I tend to get. Jeremy Elson - For Developing Circle MUD into what it is today, if he hadn't done it, I probably would have(and wouldn't have used such an annoying license) George Greer - For his help in Circle MUD's development. I'm not too sure what his role is other than backup programmer, but I know he does do something, his initials are all over my code! The Diku Team - Where would we be without them? Still using GW-Basic? Joking. No, really, without them creating Diku MUD, what kinda screwed up program would we all be working on? The Smaug Team - By working on thier code in the past, I've learned a lot about bug hunting. Heck, I can't find a single Smaug code base that doesn't have 3 pages of bugs to start. And I use MSVC, Cygwin, and Linux. You'd think I'd get a clean compile on one of em.
