CircleMUD Developer's Resources

News

2000 September 16 -- What happened?
I finally gave the site the makeover I wanted to months ago. The developer site and the FTP site were competing against each other and I saw no reason to have two different resources of the same thing. So what I've done is make the developer site a value-added mirror of the FTP site. Eventually I'll throw up a more complicated back-end for adding submissions, processing descriptions, and such to ease the maintenance. For now, the site looks roughly like it will eventually but none of the whizz-bang backend for the maintainers is there. It's supposed to eventually run on an SQL database, this just sort of rummages through the existing text files to gather the information it needs.

Yes, I realize it's rather...bland at the moment. I wanted to get it working before worrying about what colors I wanted. At least the green bar has returned! If you weren't around for my old-old site you don't realize what that means so don't worry about it.

The idea will be to make this a sort of mini-Freshmeat for projects, code, patches, and complete server code.

The old stuff is in a new location, though it may or may not be broken even worse than it used it be.
