Ok, so I finally got around to patching the bug fix from the Circle FAQ into
ban.c to fix the xnames bug BUT now NO names are accepted, everything is
Invalid name, please try another.
Could someone else verify for me that the bug fix in the FAQ is actually the
correct way to fix this bug?
