PATCH QUESTION

I downloaded the OasisOLC-patch from ftp.circlemud.org
I unpacked it in my src-library and I did what I was told in the READM-file.

I typed patch < OasisOLC.patch

All I get is this: 
	  Looks like a new-style context diff.
	File to patch: 

I thought patch would _automatically_ patch the files. I tried typing  in 
files that were supposed to be patched. All I got then was:
	No file found -- skip this patch? [no]
	
Am I doing something wrong or are there different versions of patch?
