Precedence: bulk

well, although do_kill still doesn't seem to be working, do_hit is.
so, i did a hit guard rather than a kill guard and dbx spit out the
following at me:

signal SEGV (segmentation violation) in hit at line 772 in file
"src/fight.c"  772   if (GET_POS(victim) == POS_DEAD)

which is the first line of the hit function after the variable
declarations, the next line being break;

the damage() function is before it, and i did add the auto-loot code
from the snippets page to that function, but i am quite certain there
are no errors therein.

any ideas?
