Hello all... I've got this problem compiling bpl 11 on a linux 2.0.0
machine.. I've ran configure, and once it trys to link all the .o
files this comes out:

fight.o(.text+0x46a): undefined reference to `__assert_fail'
handler.o(.text+0x5a9): undefined reference to `__assert_fail'
handler.o(.text+0x9e9): undefined reference to `__assert_fail'
handler.o(.text+0xa99): undefined reference to `__assert_fail'
handler.o(.text+0xc76): undefined reference to `__assert_fail'
handler.o(.text+0xc9f): more undefined references to `__assert_fail' follow

Any ideas? Thanks!

what is a generic pointer? :O

i'm getting *me in the magic_user proc, and gdb won't let me access it
cause it is a generic pointer. on the other hand, it is leaving vict
as NULL, which is causing my mud to crash... :(
i haven't done a thing to the proc, so i have no idea why it is
crashing like this, but that's for me to worry about. as soon as i
can figure out what is meant by a generic pointer, that is :P
