[Code] ANSI colors

Hi-

   I am trying to make flashing colours,  I tried this:

#define FLSHRED "\x1B[5;31m"
and the reverse
#define FLSHRED "\x1B[31;5m"

and both just bring up the color red, not blinking or doing anything.

                      Does anyone have an idea what i am doing
wrong? or if this is just something that is not supported?
