I don't think that's a good idea, but it'd be cool if the player didn't
*see* fifty hunger/thirst/weather messages when he came back to the
keyboard.  Just a thought.

Just make all user input toggle it off (in nanny()).  By definition,
if the player is typing stuff in, he can't be AFK.  :)
