Ezcolor does work in motd and imotd. It also works in room descriptions, 
say, gossip, tell, auction, and anywhere in the code except for act() 
calls I believe in which case you can use circle's own color system. I 
agree that it has its downfalls, but for the most part, it works great. 
We have colors all over the place using this system.
