Well, all this talk about olc had me thinking of a little online editor a
mud called Chaotic Realms has. Much nicer than OLC imho, but is probably
much tougher to code. And it's also running on a circle 3.0 bpl11 base.
All new objects have a PROTOTYPE flag, which can only be removed by an
implementor. What this flag does is make it impossible for any mortal/npc
to get that eq. Even mobs get this flag, so they can't be created for
exp. Pretty much guaranteeing that your little builders can't cheat.
They could, however, create mobs with lots of gold and give it to the
players, which someone did for me before I became an immort (and got their
ass kicked for it ;). I'm thinking of making a prototype flag for new
objs/mobs, maybe even rooms.., so that mortals can't interact with them in
any way.
