Download an appropriate root and boot disk, and get the RAWRITE.EXE
program. Then download every disk in the A series, and the AP series. You
will also want D and N if you want to just run a mud on your system. There
is a readme file somewhere that details the download/install process; it
would be in your best interests to read it.
I would also recommend Red Hat over Slackware if you are new to Linux.
