  Actually, i like the idea there a player does not have any inventory per se.
You would have all your wear positions, bags, sacks, backpacks, ect, and
what you can hold in 2 hands. No inventory. Make sure that weight/encumbrance
is in effect, so 8 suits of armor cannot be carried in a backpack.
