Jeremy,
    Since Circle is really your code, if you want to use ASCII pfiles
for stock, you are certainly welcome to make that change :-)
(I can't recall your attitude towards them the last time this debate
came up...)
        I doubt if anybody would really complain, since those people
who would really want binary would likely be knowledgable enough to
make the change in short order, those who want ascii will be happy
(especially since quite a few seem to be "newbie" coders who will
just pester the list about how to do it anyway ;-)  and those who
don't care (I assume they are the majority) won't notice the change.
