I used to MUD constantly in college... ;)
(remarkably, my GPA actually went *UP* after I started mudding :)

RO, FL, Kaos, Arctic, MooseHead and a BattleTech MUSE on a regular
basis, then others here and there just to see what else was out there.
I don't think I've ever played a circle mud though, aside from testing
the ones I've worked on... ;)

I don't MUD anymore though.  Haven't for about two years now.
Now I just tinker with Circle :D

The BattleTech MUSE had an interesting ascii map system, but it wasn't
really anything like what is being talked about here (being how as it
was used for the mech combat simulator).
