Yeah, it does, but ps will (unless you're root-privleged) only display
processes from your tty, so if you run the autorun script, then log off
your unix account, and then log back on, you can't use ps to find out the
process of your script/mud (at least on *my* linux ;)). Just in case you
need to 'kill' it in the future, it's just useful to keep the ps number
written down somewhere. Though this usually is only needed if you are
coding something and really screw up on re-compiling the mud ;)
