i doubt even 100 objects decaying at the same time would be enough to
"overload" (whatever that means)..if you send the actual gdb output and the
code, i'm sure someone would be able to spot the problem..

if you want my theory (just got my crystal ball out of the shop)..when you
create the objects, you're actually making multiple copies of the same
object (pointers all pointing to the same thing)..so the first one gets
extracted fine, but the second one will crash the game..
