Sorry for this vague reply...but I encountered the same problem...but I
found it a while later...
Umm...if I remember correctly, there's a couple of lines that say:
POOFIN(ch) == NULL;
POOFOUT(ch) == NULL;
or something like that.
The snippet from the archives is a little non-user-friendly (but isn't
C++? :P) and didn't tell you to remove those lines. Remove em, then add
in the POOFIN(ch) == char.specials.saved or whatever lines...
Works for me...but that's on a win95 mud.
