Of course it's the problem.  Unless lcc is completely compatible with
MSVC or gcc, that is.  Which I doubt (I've never even *heard* of lcc).
On the upside, I've heard that the latest version of Cygnus' Windows95
C compiler will compile CircleMUD right out of the proverbial tar, and
it's free (right?).
