You're better off cold-booting and setting it to non-PNP mode anyway... the
settings should stay as you set them there... PNP is a vile evil thing.
Check the 3Com web site for the setup utils (they run under DOS). I have 2
3C509's in my Redhat box and they work great.

Fortunately I have a 3c905b NIC and most of that should be automated.
(But I hear I'd have to readjust to 10 MB/s, cold boot linux, and/or
disable PnP BIOS every time just to be able to use it. Joy!)
