Just grep the code for mortal_start_room and see where it uses it.
I have hacked that all to death but I seem to recall it lives in
either db.c or interpreter.c.. Remember.. Grep is your best friend
when coding circlemud.. gdb is also dam helpful as well:) maybe
a really nice neighbor..
