I saw a book at CompUSA the other day that I am planning on getting,
though I haven't gotten it yet.  It's called (if I remember correctly) The
Big C/C++ Bible and it looks like it is a very comprehensive book (it is
very oversized, about 4 paperbacks laid out square, and probably 1500
pages or more).  It is mildly expensive ($60 is the reason I haven't
gotten it yet) but looks to be well worth it.
