on some of the newer win programs there is a 'blocking' ablility that
selects blocks of text and not lines
a more comone thing is keystoke short cuts
simply make a short cut of Del, Down, Del, Down......
and start at the top and repeat till done
5 or so Del, Down 's repeated clean the file in seconds
