Of course not. The license applies to the licensee. The licensee can't
accept or solicit donations, recompense, or money for running the Mud.
In the case where Entity A and Entity B are controlled by the same, they
are really just a single entity. That is, Subsidiary A and Subsidiary B
are both Large Company. This is fairly cut-and-dry. Entity B is under no
obligation to cease running the Mud because someone donated hardware or
money to the operator of the server. However, Entity B *cannot* solicit
these donations.
