I may have overlooked the obvious, I did a grep for specials.fighting and
found that utils.h had it in as char_specials.fighting, whereas my last
piece of code, was ch->specials.fighting. I promptly renamed it to
ch->char_specials.fighting in both occurences of the error and it
compiled, wheither or not it works.. well.. heh..
