[NEWBIE] fight system

hi. i'm not sure but i think that the circlemud fight system is based
around levels... i have powerlevel coded into my mud which is defined
as 2 things.. CURRENT_POWERLEVEL and MAX_POWERLEVEL
i was wondering if it is possible to make the fight system check
CURRENT_POWERLEVEL instead of your level and then use that
for the strength of the hit... if it is possible, how would i go about 
doing it.
