Problem with find_name

Hi,

I've been going through the Circle 3.0 bpl 21 and I keep coming
across the find_name not linked in error in MSVC++. I did a
search in every version of the circle, thinking that somehow, either I
made a mistake and deleted it out or it was just plain missing. I
have every version since 17, including 17. I went out to the linux
box I had and compiled a version that the find_name function
missing and it compiled straight through.

What I am looking for is a version that has the function OR if
someone could direct me to a place that has the function. I know
the function name says find name but I don't know how it was
implemented and I'm not experienced enough to try to reimplement
it. I searched the list archives and the snippets and didn't find any
reference to find_name except as header functions.

I did find it interesting that interpreter.c, db.c, and mail.c, all refer to
the external function find_name, but not one file implemented it.
VC++ complained but GCC did not.

Oh, this is related to the Ascii pfiles snippet patch that I'm trying to
work into patch 21.

Could someone help out please?

Thanks.

Gerald Florence
